April 7, 2008 - Konrad Update
Konrad had his monthly clinic appointment today and found out the results of the biopsy. Nothing to note. Konrad has two "voids" in his right femor. The doctor think they will heal/disappear over time. Konrad has been cleared to get the rest of his immunizations in preparation for school and to be crazy as a normal 4-year-old. Allison asked about the metal in his chest (the doctor used it to hold together his chest after the operation) and they do not believe it will set off metal detectors at the airport or elsewhere - "if it is does, just have him show off his scars!" Konrad does now whenever you ask him - he shows them like a badge of honor.

April 12, 2008 Geoff spends the day out on Puget Sound with the CYC Race Committee. Fine sailing in the morning, but as predicted, the wind died in the afternoon. They only were able to get in two races. The day heated up to 78 degrees - a glimpse of summer!

Allison and Young finish painting the master bedroom. Later, they took the kids to Carkeek Park to enjoy the weather. They came home after Geoff full of sand from playing on the beach.

April 13, 2008 Geoff spends another day on the water with the CYC Race Committee. They started off where they left off yesterday - no wind. By 10-11am the wind was picking up, so they headed out to the race area to setup. By the time they were done, the wind was good but very spotty. They started three races but had to abandone one because the died.

New server! As some of you noticed, the site has been up-and-down this weekend (mostly down). Geoff has upgraded the hardware for the server which required disconnecting the current server, archiving it, restoring it to the new hardware and reconfiguring a couple things. If you spot anything missing, please send him an email.

April 18, 2008 It's snowing. No, not just a little snow. Huge flakes. It's April!! Global Warming our butts!
